River Corran and Mackerel Lake Stream (The Laques).

Below are the results of the water testing the group have been carrying out once a month since Nov 2024. So far the results suggest the river water is of reasonable quality, but we are only half way through the initial 12 months of testing.

We are looking to start testing the Taf and Laugharne estuary in the next few months, so if you want to be involved please do join us. The annual membership fee is only £10 a year, we have monthly meetings and guest speakers fairly often, so great value ! Please note Join of Source is a new area we only started testing in April 2025. Basically several water ways join together at Abercorran and having found the source recently it joins slightly below where we had been testing.
