Water testing results for March 26

March saw a slight increase in Nitrate, PH and EC levels. This could be a result of the heavy rains we have had recently causing some agricultural run off. The PH levels are below danger level for aquatic life, but need to be monitored. Any further rise would need investigating, although they would have to remain elevated for many months to cause irreversible damage.

Dissolved Oxygen levels are good- ideal for maintaining aquatic life in the river system. Ammonia was only present where the tributary from Llandawke joins the Corran.
