The speaker at the next meeting of Laugharne Citizen Science Group - on Tuesday February 10 - is Emyr Williams BSc (Hons) MSc

Emyr has more than 40 years of experience as a local authority engineer. He was responsible, over the last 25 years of his career, for Pembrokeshire's flood and coastal defences.

He was a member of the steering group that commissioned the South Wales Shoreline Management Plan, which defines the coastal defence policies for the coastline for the coming century.

His talk will cover the science behind climate change and its impacts on the coastline, including the uncertainties inherent in forecasting climate change.

Emyr's talk begins at 6.30pm in the Meeting Room of Laugharne Memorial Hall. It will be followed by our ordinary monthly meeting. All welcome
